Unique Pet Shop: Saket.
I visited a pet shop for dogs and cats in Saket which is famous. The owner was very supportive and free at the time I went so he kindly gave me an assistant who I showed me around.

What kinds of pets do you usually keep for sale? Dogs and cats.
What pets do you currently have? Only dogs.Cats come on order only. Labradors, mongreal ,toy pom, beagals, daltions.
Which breed is most commonly bought? Labradors are the most preferred.
What kind of customers usually come to your shop to buy dogs and accessories? Mostly families with children but not necessarily.
Where do you get your dogs from? Dogs come from Calcutta. We have a big farm there with a lot of dogs and cats.
What products do you keep? Dog food, cat food, fish food. Dog food includes royal canin and pedigree. Royal Canin is what is usually bought though pedigree is an Indian brand.dog shampoos,powder, vitamins, calcium, choostix with various flavours from Lal pets and Taneja, collars, chains, food bowls, beds and dog toys.
Dogs are treated like babies and thus they need all this too.
What is the importance of packaged dog food? Ideally, dog food should be given to dog for the first 10 months since they might lack nutrients otherwise. After that normal house food should be given.
How is the procedure of selling dogs? We always register and tell them basic ways to take care of dogs.
Do you follow up with people who you sell dogs to? They come if they have a problem but there is no proper system and we don’t check on the dogs once they’re sold.
